"The longest day of the year..."

The tank  PzKpfw IV(F),  from the 35th panzerregiment 4PD was destroyed on the 6th of October, 1941. 

We don't know what happened to its crew.

There was another tank of an unknown model nearby.

The Soviet tank T-34-76 was destroyed during attacking 4 PD. This tank was shown to F. Porsche by major Lauchert.

On that day 6 German tanks were destroyed(2-PzKpfw II, 2- PzKpfw III, 2-PzKpfw IV) . It was a dramatic day in the history of 35 Panzer Regiment.
