Chaunvency-le-Chateau hatte Besuch von den "Bären"

 Hope all is well!

I have made a strange and completely "out of the blue" discovery of of a PzRgt35 soldier's graffiti ... sketched on an attic wall of a farm house of a small village, Chaunvency-le-Chateau, in Belgium, apparently done at sometime in 1940.

While I was doing a random Google search of the PzRgt35 motto a couple of weeks ago: "Nicht wanken, nicht schwanken Nur einen Gedanken. Vorwärts und durch!"  ... I came across a travel blog by a young Canadian woman who had gone to spend a year in Belgium as an exchange high school student.  While there, she took some fotos of her Host Family's farmhouse attic ... and posted it on her blog.   To my surprise, I saw that this foto was of a PzRg35 soldier's graffiti in the farmhouse attic, along with a few dozen beer and wine bottles apparently left behind by the PzRgt35 troops who were up in that attic.

I asked the young lady for permission to send these photos along to you and she has graciously given her permission ... so that all of our comrades can see this discovery.

Best,
Wayne

PS: I told the young lady, Saskia Vaisey, of Vancouver, BC, Canada of the PzRgt35 and she was pleased to see all of the veterans and activities of the group.
